Display and UI
G3‘s 5.5” IPS LCD screen is the best in its class. G3 supports 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution which is amazing. It has a pixel density of 538 ppi which is more than any other flagship smartphone available in India. G3 runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat along with LG’s own custom skin on top which is very functional.
LG has made a lot of changes in the UI, G3 has a simplistic UI. The UI is very easy to learn and use. The transparent notification bar added in G3 is like that seen on Android L, without the card like notifications. The Knock Code unlock feature is also very cool, adds more security and it is quite easy to use. You can set a unique knock pattern, to unlock your phone.

Performance
As a flagship smartphone, G3 performs flawlessly. G3 sports a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core SoC with Adreno 330 GPU. The performance is very smooth there is no lag in the UI and high end games like Asphalt 8,Dead Trigger 2,FIFA 14 and Real Racing.
Camera
One of its biggest strengths is in the 13 MP rear camera, which has a laser auto-focus system. The G3’s camera is definitely one of the best that you can find today. The front 2.1 MP camera is quite well it has a unique fist gesture selfie feature by which you can take a selfie by closing your wrist. The laser auto- focus feature is also very cool which uses a laser to draw distance from the object The camera UI also is very simplistic and fast. Considering the overall camera experience, the G3 could be the best camera that you can find on a smartphone right now in India.
